AOM sponsors ICOMOS Australia 2019 Conference Heritage of the Air.
Art of Multimedia was delighted to sponsor The Heritage of the Air Australia ICOMOS conference held in Canberra, November 2019. This gathering brought together 197 delegates from around the world, all dedicated to the study, preservation, protection and interpretation of global cultural assets.
The program delivered 80 thought-provoking and exciting presentations with cross-cutting themes of modernism, migration, machines and memory, approached from different disciplinary perspectives.
AOM produced a short film in collaboration with Dr Tracy Ireland, Jessica Western and Ross Gibson, as well as Australia ICOMOS, AirServices, University of Canberra, Australian Research Council and many collecting institutions providing archival assets. Tracy Ireland said
"The film you produced was widely commented upon! I really believe that being able to start (and end) each plenary with this work created a strong impression of the work of HOTA and ICOMOS that could not have been achieved in other ways."
