Art of Multimedia is the Opal Digital Patron for the ICOMOS GA2023 event.

The ICOMOS GA2023 is coming to Sydney—and Art of Multimedia is proud to support the 'Olympics of the Cultural Heritage'. We're thrilled to be an official Opal Digital Patron for the ICOMOS GA2023 event.

ICOMOS is a non-governmental international organisation dedicated to the conservation of the world's monuments and sites. We are excited to support the industry we love and will work closely with the ICOMOS GA2023 Executives to create content that encourages participation and inspires attendance in Sydney. As a long-standing multimedia business, we understand digital media's importance and influence on bringing important global events to life.

Our multidisciplinary creatives and designers bring a thoughtful simplicity to complex storytelling and digital challenges, to create enduring outcomes for our clients. It's our passion to collaborate with others who dare to reflect on the past to improve the future. At AOM, we recognise interpretive content is the key to engaging the broader community in cultural heritage. And through compelling storytelling, we can include them in appreciating our cultural heritage and its value today.

The 21st Triennial General Assembly of ICOMOS meets in Australia for the first time and globally every three years. Not only is hosting the event in Sydney prestigious, but it's also an incredible avenue for stimulating the Australian economy as the GA2023 draws in experts from 100 countries across the globe. The enticing news about this is that it'll help to boost grass root interest in cultural heritage and conservation work throughout Australia—and beyond. For 2023's Scientific Symposium, the theme is 'Heritage Changes: Resilience-Responsibility-Rights-Relationships'. It'll bring to light the tumultuous changes our world has undergone and highlight the role that heritage plays in rapid recovery and inclusive approaches.

Across the ten-day program, there'll be site visits, workshops, lectures, expert meetings and social gatherings. Delegates will explore the World Heritage-listed Sydney Opera House, Cockatoo Island, Hyde Park Barracks and Greater Blue Mountains. Plus, there'll be excursions to various other Aboriginal and colonial cultural places.

We'd love you to follow our journey with the ICOMOS GA 2023; you can do that by signing up for our newsletter in the form below. Or, if you've got an upcoming cultural heritage project and want to work with digital media experts, get in touch today!

"As an Opal Patron, Art of Multimedia provided fundamental support for GA2023; which, among other things, had the effect of encouraging other patrons. But – in particular – the GA2023 video series was an outstanding success: not only through encouraging attendance, but also in conveying important messages and setting the ‘tone’ of the event as engaging and welcoming. As if that were not enough, the wrap-up highlights video (which I know was also subsidised) provided a wonderful finale at the conclusion of GA2023: thank you! Please feel free to share this heartfelt gratitude with others from Art of Multimedia."
