Video playback problems
Video can be delivered as a progressive download or as a video stream. The default setting is "Streaming". To change this preference, access the "My Info" option after selecting "Account" from the top navigation. Under preferences choose your delivery method.
Streaming:
Video is downloaded on demand and the user can select portions of the video that have not been downloaded yet. Streaming is recommended for long form content or clips over 5 minutes. Certain firewalls may prohibit access to video streams (using port 1935). Should video playback not be successful, switch to progressive download.
Progressive:
Progressive files download from the beginning. The entire video needs to be downloaded before the user can seek to any point in the time line. With progressive files, the browser caches the video file which can lead to improved performance when seeking to points on the time line.
