Creating a Google Account
One of the many Google services that we use is Google Analytics, which we incorporate into the websites we build and have support for in Third Eye so that users can get a comprehensive overview the traffic to their websites.
So that users of Google's services don't have to remember a separate user and password for each one, they use Single Sign On (SSO) in the form of a Google Account. Basically this allows you to associate an e-mail address with Google that lets them recognise you at all the various services, this e-mail address can be any e-mail address that you have access to, although Gmail addresses are perfectly fine to use as well.
How to create an account ?
- Go to the Google account creation page.
- Enter the e-mail address you would like to associate with the Google account.
- Enter a password, this is the password that will work at all Google services, it is recommended that it is different from the one you use for your actual e-mail account.
- Fill in the rest of the details according to your preferences.
- Check your e-mail (including your spam folder) for an e-mail that will arrive from google. When it arrives, click on the link to verify your account.
- Get in touch with us so that we can add your new google account to the appropriate analytics profile.
Once these have been completed, you will have a google account that can be used to sign in to Google Analytics
