Company brochure meets product manual in LAF Group’s new interactive PDF Fusion document. Combining company credentials and case studies with a comprehensive product showcase, the PDF allows different audiences to drill down to the most relevant content.

Following more than 50 years in the business of fire and acoustic protection, LAF Group have a lot to offer their potential clients. Filtering all their knowledge and expertise for different construction industry stakeholders – building contractors, architects, fire engineers – calls for some comprehensive yet flexible communication tools.

Art of Multimedia developed a two level approach to support LAF Group in their sales process. Beginning with a powerpoint presentation, this tool provides a brief taste of what LAF Group can do - to introduce the company and its products together with some highlights from an impressive track record. The powerpoint content includes comprehensive speaker notes, so that anyone from the sales team can cover all the important highlights from the LAF Group story when addressing their audience, while keeping the slide content clear and focused.

Where more detail is required for a specific type of stakeholder, an interactive PDF Fusion document, including video clips to show LAF products in action, allows the sales team to go deeper into the detail of LAF product applications and specifications. With links to further information within the document, LAF Group can tailor the information for their audience’s area of interest, whether it’s compliance, cost or aesthetics.

“All the information they require is in one document. And then you can select the information that’s most relevant” says Fatemeh Javanpour, Sales and Marketing Manager for LAF Group.

The PDF Fusion document can be used as a more informal presentation tool or as a leave behind document for potential clients to explore. Designed in landscape format for optimal display onscreen, pages can be printed inhouse, maintaing the quality of design and layout with low printing costs. PDF Fusion can also be updated by the LAF Group inhouse team as required.

Although the powerpoint and PDF include different levels of detail, the key messages about LAF Group are consistent between them. The use of case studies in both documents gives the audience real insight into how LAF Group apply their expertise, high product standards and excellent research and development capabilities to solve all kinds of issues in the construction industry.

“The case studies are central” says LAF Group Sales and Marketing representative Jacopo Biasibett, “they hit the topics around the flexibility, efficiency, efficacy and quality of our products. And they draw the attention of engineers who want to learn something new and this usually generates some good discussions with our potential clients”.
