Branding to be out of this world
AOM have completed the last component of a brand upgrade for Direct Couriers, with a new website that goes beyond a marketing opportunity to being a media-rich communication tool.
“The people at Direct Couriers are incredibly hard-working and busy. The courier business is extremely frenetic. AOM set out to reflect that dynamism in the company's web presence,” says Beata Kade, AOM's managing director. “From a customer service point of view, we also set out to match their values of delivering fast and on time.”
Ensuring an integrated look, feel and message was an absolute must. “Direct Couriers are exciting, professional, fast growing and focused on client satisfaction – all values that had to be carried through to the site,” adds Beata.
"Equally important, for an industry in which reliability and consistency are essential, was creating the right brand image throughout the company’s marketing collateral, including web presence.”
Existing and prospective customers interact with the Direct Couriers site on a number of levels, from checking out what services are offered to tracking the progress of deliveries. There's even a footy tipping competition to add a bit of fun.
Demonstrating just how powerful the internet can be, Direct Couriers are taking their delivery locating service a leap further. They are developing a GPS system that goes beyond showing locations on a boring grid map to letting customers track items visually, in real time, with satellite pictures from Google Earth. Not only cool, but immensely useful.
“We can’t wait to see the end result. We're planning a special promotion when the new GPS system is up and running,” says Beata.
If you are looking for a courier company that uses industry-leading technologies, backed by reliable, dedicated and efficient staff, Direct Couriers operate in all Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth CBDs, suburbs, airports and beyond, and offer a range of services for local, interstate and international deliveries.
